Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to work on advanced product development?

We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an exciting development project with a leading industrial client. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with design, product development, and optimization of mechanical solutions in a technically advanced environment.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on the development and improvement of mechanical designs and products. The role covers everything from concept development and design to technical analysis and documentation.

You will collaborate with various technical disciplines and contribute technical expertise to development projects where quality, functionality, and innovation are at the forefront.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mechanical designs.
• Participate in development projects for new and existing products.
• Perform technical analyses and investigations.
• Prepare technical documentation and design specifications.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across different technical areas.
• Provide technical recommendations based on established engineering methods.
• Ensure that designs meet technical requirements, standards, and business goals.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.

Alternatively:

• Other relevant technical education combined with at least 15 years of experience in the field.

You also have:

• Extensive experience with SolidWorks.
• A good understanding of mechanical designs and product development processes.
• The ability to work independently and drive technical issues forward.
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Flexible cable systems and cable routing.
• Cast and machined components.
• Gears and transmission solutions.
• Moving mechanical structures.
• Research and Development (R&D).
• SAP or similar business systems.
